DGM Engineering was founded in 2024 to provide independent, expert engineering advice and solutions to a broad range of clients. At DGM Engineering, we are passionate about improving the local and global community by collaboratively developing ideas and bringing them to reality. WHO?
A Chartered Professional Engineer with 12 years' experience, Daniel has worked as a Mechanical Engineer and Project Engineer across the Automotive, Nuclear and Mining Conveyor industries. Successes include:
Development of novel transmissions for Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturers
Drivability calibration for automatic transmission development
Delivery of product conveyor system and electron beam weld machine for radioactive waste facility
Design, development and prototyping of novel monorail based conveyor system for deployment in mining and tunnelling

SAFETY
Everything at DGM Engineering is done with safety as the first consideration. 'What could go wrong and how can we mitigate it?' is always front of mind.
MECHANICAL DESIGN
Whether a brand new concept or to integrate with existing equipment/products, DGM Engineering provides the necessary analysis, design and documentation to bring your idea to fruition.
3D MODELLING & DRAFTING
3D Models and drafting, including full manufacturing and assembly drawings with BOM and exploded view assembly diagrams.
FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS
Linear elastic, buckling and modal FEA are used alongside manual calculation to ensure robust and reliable outcomes.
3D SCANNING
From small objects to vehicle size, DGM Engineering provides an on-site 3D Scanning service to allow reverse engineering or integration with existing equipment.
ENGINEERING CERTIFICATION
DGM Engineering provides Engineering Certification services for mechanical designs and components. This includes analysis and advice on design changes/updates necessary to meet requirements of relevant standards.
